Best Flat Irons and Hair Straighteners of 2007

CurlytoStraight.com announces the best hair straighteners of 2007.

The standards that were used to decide on this "Best Of" list are; product features, reliability, customer support and consumer feed back. This review will not discuss all of the classes of hair straighteners or flat irons on the market. Just top tier products were examined and costs were not considered.

These reviews are based only on product quality, customer feed back and features. This will not consider cost.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This brand of hair straightener is without a doubt the best out there. These hair straighteners provide each and every cutting edge feature; lightening fast heat time, damp-or-dry styling, 450F max temp, adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates and the most dependable plate heating of any product available on the market. The Runway models also have the best user feed back of any the products we reviewed. If you want the best and most effective hair straighteners out there this is it, and they are pricey. These straighteners usually about $400.

Are the FHI Runway models really worth the money? If you can afford it, certainly.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As leaders in the advancement of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, The Platform series provides an outstanding straightener at a much more affordable price. Available in various sizes, the FHI Platform series offers 450F max heat, PTFC ceramic heat plates, adjustable temperature and ultra flash heat times. While these items are less expensive than the Runway models, it's important to note that they are still on the expensive side at about $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The stylish pink straightener offers the very best reliability and performance of any flat iron in the Farouk CHI line. Ceramic plates, flash heat times, and temperature control combined with an ergonomically and comfortably designed handle make the CHI ceramic flat iron an attractive option for those who want to get the most from their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - In actuality, this flat iron ranked above the CHI Pink series as far as product features, but it was dropped to the fourth space largely because consumers have had difficulty with warranty returns. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry provides a durable ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our review of flat irons. This straightener line is used by more hair professionals than any of the other models. And even though its maximum temperature and flash heating don't match the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is a perfect option for people who want world class performance and reliability.
